With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wilfred Lloyd Freir “Bill” on Thursday February 4, 2021 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Chatham 72 years ago, the son of Wilfred and Mable Freir. Beloved husband of Pat for over 52 years. Dear father of Kelly Freir-Wilcox (Trevor) and Kim Stass. Grandfather of Korey (Linda) and Michelle. Bill had many great memories of car racing with his Dad. Pat and Bill worked together for years tending to several race horses and traveling between local tracks. He loved his daughter’s dog Maddy and even considered her his dog. Bill’s family and kids made the biggest difference in his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Special thanks to Dr. Kathryn Bailey for her exceptional care and compassion.
