Wayne Mackintosh

Wayne Mackintosh “Candyman” passed peacefully with family by his side on Monday April 15, 2019 at the Chatham Kent Hospice in his 65th year. Son of Theresa Nastase and the late Ronald Mackintosh. Husband of 24 years to Sandy Wilkinson. Step father of Jeff Wilkinson (Amy) of Georgetown, Sherri Smith (Kevin) of Tampa Florida and Colin Wilkinson of Erin. Grandfather of Colton, Eden, Addison, Carsen, Quinn and Savannah. Brother of Sandra Scott (Al) of St Catherine’s and Brian Mackintosh of Fort Erie. Wayne loved to cook and will always be remembered for his love of computer technologies but even more so his fierce love of his grandkids.   1. Condolences to the family, I worked with Wayne at KN for about 20 years. He was a good guy…. taught me a lot of things with computers.

I was lucky to know Wayne for many years, I appreciated his sense of humour and unique outlook on life whether he was geeking out about computers or discussing the finer qualities of horror movies. He taught me a lot while working together but it is definitely the friendship I valued most and will miss that. Great guy with a lot of love for his family. Condolences to Sandy and the entire family.
