Tolsma, Tina – Safe in the arms of Jesus. After a brief illness, Tina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the age of 90. Dear wife of John, beloved mother of Art (Enica) Tolsma, Marg (Win) Medenblik-Elzinga, Rita (Brad) Moor, Linda (Gerry) Wolting. Grandmother (Beppe) of 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Survived by one sister, Corrie, of the Netherlands. Predeceased by her parents, Gerben & Romkje Draayer, sisters Riemke & Martha and one brother Corneles. Special thanks to Dr. Stronks, Pastor William Koopmans, staff of CCAC and the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their recent loving care of our mother. Friends will be received by the family at Grace Christian Reformed Church on Thursday September 29, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Private interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery on Friday, September 30, 2016 followed by a memorial service at Grace Christian Reformed Church at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Chatham Christian School or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences and memories can be shared at www.lifetransitions.ca
