Thomas Howard

Howard, Thomas James. July 1, 1958 – September 29, 2016

Tom laced up his skates and is effortlessly skating with heaven’s angels. He lost the ultimate fight of his life but he will never lose the place he holds in our hearts.

Best friend, soulmate and husband to Judi Howard (Fields) of 35 years. Most amazing, loving father and hero to Angie Howard Foster and father in law to Ryan Foster. The best Papa to Kenedie, Hayden and Gage, they lit up his eyes as he did theirs. He will me missed by his fur babies Charlie and Maxx Howard and grand fur babies Horten, Lexxi and Louie. Special brother in law to Ted Fields, also survived by 5 sisters, 1 brother and many sisters and brother in laws. Predeceased by his parents Jean Howard (Primeau) and James Howard. Tom was a very hard working man, devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan and adored his wife, daughter and grandchildren. A tremendous thank-you to his PSW’s Karen, Amber, and Virginia. We are so thankful for the ongoing loving, compassionate care of Dr Jason Denys. Also a special thank you to ICU nurses Luann and Rachelle and medicine nurses Ray, Krystal, and Kassie. As well as Karin of supportive care. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date. Until we meet again… “Go Leafs Go”

  2. Very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom and I were close when we were young children, living only about 4 blocks away. We had great times playing in his neighborhood. I rode a bike for the first time with Tom and went right down the hill and square into a telephone pole.

I am sorry that we did not keep in touch. Tom will be missed.

We send our deepest condolences to Tom’s family.
