Theresa (Baratta) Palmer

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Theresa Veronica (Baratta) Palmer at the age of 67, on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in London, Ontario.
Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Gerard (Gerry) Baratta and dear mother of David LeClair (Dianna). She will be missed by her grandchildren David Jr, Destiny, Tylar (Amanda), Blake, Owen, Alexis and Kamden and great grandchildren Annastasia and Carson. Theresa was also a special step mother and grandmother to Mike (children Alyssa and Rylan) of Ontario, John (Leah) (children Eve, Ana, Gerard and Esther) of Saskatchewan and Julie (Eric) of Alberta. Her little fur companion Odie will miss his loving owner.
Also survived by sisters Joanne (Bill), Chris (Alf), Wendy (Ron) and Kathy and numerous nieces and nephews; Celeste, Brian Amanda, Stephanie, Andrew, Dennise, Mark, Megan, Ronnie and Shelly. Predeceased by brother Mike, sister Nancy and her parents Nan and George Martin.
As per her wishes, Theresa was cremated and her family will remember her privately.

  1. Sending our condolences to Theresa’s family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was everything to Theresa and she talked of them all the time. I am sure she never missed a family get together and her love always shone through. Her little dog Odie will be lost. I will miss her cheery facebook messages, our doggie posts and chats. A lovely lady gone too soon. Rest in Peace Theressa.

  2. Although I only recently reconnected with Theresa I remember her from our days at St. Michael’s .I am so glad we were able to have the short time on facebook .My regret is not getting together in person. RIP my beautiful childhood friend. Sincere sympathy to your family.

  5. I only met Theresa a couple of times at family gatherings band some to her on Facebook , she was an amazing woman , she was kind , loving, always smiling, excepted everyone into her heart with love .. I’m going to miss you hun , always in my heart ❤️

  7. Theresa was always smiling and had kind words to say. I am her cousin and will miss her asking me to play some boogie woogie on the piano for her and her sisters. We will miss you.

  12. My thoughts & prayers are with Theresa’s family during this sad time. Theresa had been my next door neighbour for almost 8 years. She was such a lovely person & so was little Odie. We often chatted in the hallway & in the gardens outside. She was so kind, friendly, a delight to talk to, always positive no matter what. She was a wonderful neighbour. It has been very somber here in the building since her passing. All of us are still in shock & miss her & Odie. To all of Theresa’s family – I’m so sorry for your loss. May God give you comfort, strength and peace during this time and be with you in the days, weeks, months to come.

  14. Theresa had a smile and warm welcome each and every time I saw her as a child and as an adult. My heart hurts for her family and for my cousins for whom she gave everything to be a parent and friend.

  18. Theresa had been our “hallway” neighbour for 8 years & was such a vibrant personality. Always cheerful & loved to stand & chat. She & “our little buddy Odie will be very much missed. The hallway seems so quiet & empty without them Rest in peace Theresa
