Susan Bechard

Susan Marie Bechard passed suddenly June 26, 2018. Daughter of Orville and Dora Bechard. Wife of George Gardina. Mother of Adam Bechard. Sister of Joseph Bechard of Windsor, Glen Bechard of Chatham and Michael Bechard (Michelle) of Brantford and the late Peter Bechard. Aunt of Celine, Josee of Ottawa, Ben and Memphis. Susan will also be greatly missed by her dog Benny. Visitation will take place from 10:00-11:00am at Gregory Drive Alliance Church, 225 Gregory Drive, Chatham, on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Funeral to follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery immediately following the Service. Online condolences are welcome at

    We are both very sorry about the unexpected loss of your wife. I know what a terrible shock it must be. We still can’t believe it ourselves.

  4. I had the pleasure of going to public school with Susan and having delt with her at Honda House later I was shocked and very sad to here of her passing.My Condolences to her family and praying for you during this very sad time.

  12. I am so sorry for your sudden loss. I went to school with Susan and will remember her fondly. Unfortunately I no longer live in Chatham and will not be able to attend her service but wanted to send my condolences

  15. I went to Public School with Susan at Mckeough, then our children went to Mckeough together. I would still see her at Walmart and I was great to catch up with her. Always smiling (such a beautiful smile) and it was like we never lost touch. Such a wonderful person, still in shock

We will always cherish our memories of her on our yearly trips south, especially the afternoon at Cabo Wabo this past February. Be strong my friend and know that our thoughts are with you

I went to school with Susan and although we didn’t keep constant contact, when we did go for coffee or run into each other, we never missed a beat!! She will be missed for all her enthusiasm she brought to others, and of course that beautiful smile!
