Slater Campbell

In Memory Of Slater William Campbell 1953-2021
Slater William Campbell, 67, of Sarnia Ontario, suddenly returned to his heavenly home on February 10, 2021. After a long well fought battle with Wergener’s Disease. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Slater was the youngest child of Ken Campbell and the late Mary Paige born on December 12, 1953. Slater lived his life in Sarnia and full heartedly gave himself to the Christian faith. He was a good man who had a smile and a conversation for everyone he met, he would give his last quarter to help someone in need.
Slater lovingly raised his two children in the Christian faith with a strong devotion to God. Slater devoted his entire life to taking care of his children & mother, until her death in 2017. Slater loved making memories with his children on their many road trips whether it be to Nova Scotia or the Toronto Airport. Slater loved watching his daughter get married & birth his best friend Maverick, being a “PaPa” brought new light to his life & so proud.
Slater leaves behind his children Scott Campbell and Crystal (Jordan) Isaac both of Sarnia, his father Ken Campbell of Chatham. His siblings Ron(Barb) Campbell of Sarnia, Bonnie(and the late Paul) Holman of Chatham, half brother Kenneth Knight of British Columbia, his 3 grandchildren, Logan, Lilly and his side kick Maverick. Slater will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends and his cat “DOG”.
Slater is now rejoicing in heaven with his best friend his mother Mary Paige and his sister Kathleen & many more that we have lost too soon.
“Don’t be sad when I go, live your life!  I’ll be happy, rejoicing at the gates of heaven with my mom, she will be so beautiful, I will be with her watching over you, just look up when you need me”
