Robert Anthony Jubenville passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. 

Leaving behind his loving wife, Julianna of 57 years and his children Madeline (Martin) Mason, Clarence (Tiffany) Jubenville, Amendine (Eric) Millard, and George (Monia) Jubenville.  Papa to his grandchildren Samantha and Micheal Vandelinder, Grace, Victoria, and Jack Jubenville, Daniel Millard, Calista and Alisa Jubenville.  Great Papa to Aiden and Aria Vandelinder.

Robert was born June 25, 1931 to the late Clarence and Amendine Jubenville. Oldest brother to Doris (the late Raymond) Tremblay, the late Leo Jubenville, the late Rosemarie Jubenville, the late Lenard Jubenville, (the late Antionette) Jubenville, Francis Jubenville, the late Donald Jubenville and Irene (Ben) Smit.  Brother-in-law to Margaret and Jim Carter, Florence and Paul Huszka, Roseanne and the late George Lernout, Maria and Roger Lycke, Irene and Henry Stepniak, Georgina and Ron Swackhammer.  Robert will also be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was a devoted Catholic and member of the St. Ursula’s parish. Robert was a real family man.  He loved his garden and was always willing to share his bounty.  He enjoyed the company of others and appreciated kindness.  He will be missed by many.

The family would like to thank the heath care professionals from Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and Erie St. Clair for their incredible kindness and care. They really made him feel very special.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada (www.diabetes.ca) or the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca).  Due to COVID restrictions, a private family gathering will be held Thursday, January 14 at St. Peter`s Cemetery.

    We were very saddened for the lose of Uncle Robert,,, he most reminded me of Papa…. a strong man with a kind heart for others who gave the BEST hugs…Rest in peace uncle…..all our love and support to you all

  12. Dear Julianna and family: Wilbert and I were very sorry to hear of Robert’s passing. He always had a smile and a handshake . I really missed seeing him at Mass this last year due to Covid. May God bless you Julianna. May he rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.
