Phyllis Wolfe

Phyllis Margaret Wolfe passed away peacefully on November 18, 2020 at Babcock Community Care Centre in Wardsville, Ontario. Born on February 11, 1930, in St Thomas, Ontario.  Daughter of her loving parents the late Harry McGahan and Margaret Wills McGahan. Beloved mother of Tex Tobias (Deb), Shelley Hyslop and the late Wayne Brian Tobias. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Scott Tobias (Karen), Kirk Tobias (Robin), Colette Tobias, Stephanie Card (Ryan), Jennifer Hyslop (Chris), Jeff Hyslop (Ursula) and Kelly Glover. Predeceased by her brothers; Claude Gray, Bud, Glen, Red, Tex, and Kenny. She is also survived by many beautiful great-grandchildren, nieces nephews, great-nieces and nephews, friends and extended family who call her Nan. Phyllis loved God and gospel music. Special thanks to Babcock Nursing Home and LHSC Dialysis team for their kindness and care for Phyllis. 

A service will take place at a later date at West Lorne Baptist Church followed by burial at the Rodney cemetery. Those wishing to make donations in Phyllis’ memory are asked to please consider Diabetes Canada.

Nan we have very great memories we are keeping close to our hearts. Fly high Nan watch over us and keep us safe.   4. I was Phyllis’s PSW for many years. She was more than a client she was my friend. We had a lot of visits & lots of laughs.
    She was a wonderful lady who everyone loved & admired. She will be greatly missed by all.

  5. Phyllis, was a wonderful persons .My mother and Phil where true friends for many years. she was our other mother. we spent many hours at the Tobias home. Shelly, WAyne. and Tex and my brothers and sisters spent many hrs together . when Wayne passed away we also lost a brother. SHELLY YOUR MOM AND MINE ARE together again singing there favourite hymns.
