Peter Burtch

Peter James Burtch, a resident of Chatham, passed away on Monday July 8, 2019 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Son of the late Charles and Gladys Burtch. Husband of the late Elaine Burtch. Father of James Burtch of Blenheim and Carol Sikkema of Englehart. Father-in-law to Rodica Burtch and Douwe Sikkema. Grandfather of Matthew Burtch and Nicholas Sikkema. Brother of Stephen Robert Burtch and the late David Charles Burtch. Uncle of Elizabeth, Russell, and Charles Burtch and Jeremy Burtch. Peter worked for many years as an accountant for various organizations and was also a founding member of Living Faith Community Church. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 12, 2019 at 7 pm at Living Faith Community Church (530 Victoria Ave., Chatham)

  7. I worked with Peter many many years ago at Union Gas…he was so much fun and always made me laugh…a lovely person and have fond memories of Peter…so sorry to hear of his passing.

My wife and I have known your mom and dad for many years and have shared many great times with them over the years…especially when I worked at Union Gas. Unfortunately we just learnt of your father’s passing and unable to attend the memorial service. Our thoughts are with you.
