Patricia Nott

Patricia June Nott, (formerly McFadden; Chesney) passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, on May 15, 2019, at Riverview Gardens, Chatham. She is the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary McFadden. Wife of the late Peter Nott. Mother of Andrea Ellison (Bruce), Shawn Chesney (Marcy), and Michael Chesney (Komang). She is the grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren. Erin (John), Shawn (Soran), Jaylene (Josh), Wolfe and Uniqua and great grandmother to Jacob. She is a sister to Gary (Mary), Dixie (Jim), Aaron (Darlene), Lonnie (Mary) and Pam (Jack). Patricia is predeceased by siblings Donna, Penny, Dennis and Dale. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her passions throughout her life were gardening, crossword puzzles, cooking and travelling the world. She loved to entertain, watch Anderson Cooper, The Young and the Restless. She was an avid supporter of The Shopping Channel! The family would like to say a special thank you to the caring staff at Riverview Gardens, 2E, for looking after Mom when we could not and making her last moments comfortable and dignified and for seeing to the needs of our family even when we didn’t realise what we needed. Also, the staff in Acute Care, ER, CKHA for your professional and compassionate care of our mother and her family. Mom loved cats and dogs. If desired, donations can be made to the local Humane Society in her memory. A celebration of life will be held June 29, 2019 from noon to 3 p.m. at Rossini’s Restaurant.

  1. I remember Pat as a wonderful decorator of every house she lived in , she made the house a home. She had unique ideas and everything was very beautiful. She loved antiques and collected many nice things , she will be missed by friends and family.

  2. Pat was a very kind and caring person. She was there to help with meals when Uncle Jim was first out of hospital. She will be sadly missed.

  7. Being neighbors and having Aunt Pat part of my life was a blessing. She enjoyed her beautiful gardens, her large black coffee from Tim’s an on occasion a nice glass of red wine. We had great conversations and many laughs along the way. Memories I will forever cherish for they are priceless. Rest in Peace Aunt Pat.

  8. I Worked With Pat…Many Years Ago…At The Holiday Inn…Chatham. She Was A Bartender…I Was A Waitress…!970-1974…She Was A Very Classy…And Beautiful Lady. Just Read Now…That She Passed Away. Sorry To Hear This Sad News. My Condolence To Her Family…..Alveana Willder.
