A New Approach to an Old Undertaking

Life Transitions is a fully licensed, locally owned and operated Funeral Home serving Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton and surrounding area. We are James and Lee-Ann MacNeil and our mission is to combine James’ traditional experience with unique personalized service as we change the brand of the funeral home. We are essentially the funeral home without the building.

The primary focus for us at Life Transitions is to expand and rejuvenate the traditional model of the funeral home. Our families have the opportunity to gather and honour their loved ones in a place that is familiar and comfortable for them with no geographic limitations. (Examples church, home, hall etc ) Our goal is to bring the community back into the funeral process by making connections for each family accessing components of their loved one’s life, customizing a tailored and unique experience.

We believe ours is the new model for the funeral home, as priorities and expectations are changing. The building no longer needs to define the funeral home, but rather exceptional personalized service offering each family a dignified and affordable service for their loved ones.

We are a contemporary alternative to traditional funeral services. We break down the barriers that have been implemented over time. We are a new approach to an old undertaking. The relationships we develop with our client families are real. We offer those we serve the opportunity to create their own traditions. Although Life Transitions may not be an alternative for everyone, we believe that everyone deserves a fair value option.

Life Transitions has restructured the traditional approach to funeral planning formats, because of this we are able to pass the savings back to our families to help ease the potential financial burden often associated with funerals.
