Melvin Brown

Melvin Brown passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 7, 2021, surrounded by family. Husband of Alecia Brown. Son of Roy “Mel Sr” Brown and the late Barbara Anne (Pillon), and step-mother Maria Brown. Father of Jessica Fields, Victoria Malone (Justin), Jeffrey Plant, Cody Fleury (Emily). Loving grandfather of Ryland, Londynn, Alice, and Rosalie. Mel will also be missed by step-sister Erica (Rob), and step-brother Paul, his nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law Jo Anne Watson, and his father-in-law Carl Watson. Predeceased by his brother-in-law (Ray Plant).  Mel worked at Walmart for 15 years in the tire and lube department. Please consider the Kidney Foundation for memorial donations in Mel’s name. A celebration of Mel’s life will be announced at a later date.

  2. Sorry to hear about the passing of Mel , I worked at Wal Mart with him. He was a man of few words but well liked . I knew he was sick but he continued to work , he’ll be sorely misssed. I’ll be thinking of the family at this difficult time.

    1. Got to know Mel through Walmart as I worked there 13 years. He was also cracking jokes and a smile on his face even though these last couple years have been hard he also did his best. My condolences to his family as I have had the pleasure of knowing them through Mel. You will be missed my friend RIP

    Mel was a card! He always had a smart comment or complaint to lodge, but he did it with a smile. . I will miss him at work no one to joke with anymore. May he Rest In Peace & pain free. May you all find peace in knowing this. He will be missed
