Mary Louise Linton was born in Port Credit, Ontario in 1936 and died suddenly on October 29, 2018 in Chatham. She was surrounded by the kind caregivers and residents of her retirement community. Predeceased by loving parents John and Grace Linton (Drummond) and brother John D. Linton (Jeanette). Mary Lou completed Airline Career Training in Indiana and worked on the cruise ship Calypso. She travelled to England, Ireland, France, Italy, Bermuda and the United States plus worked for Dr. Ross optometry. Former customers will recall her Avon and Bestline products. She liked animals, collected coins and enjoyed (and often won at) contests, lotteries and casinos. Reading, especially poetry, was a favourite pastime. Dresden cronies, Wallaceburg neighbours, and regional cousins will miss her. Friends are invited to a memorial service at First Baptist Church in Wallaceburg on Tuesday, November 13th at 3:00 PM. Interment at Riverview Cemetery. Remembrances may be sent through www.lifetransitions.ca or gifted to the social fund of Meadowpark Nursing Home. Many heartfelt thanks go out to the wonderful staff and volunteers who brought comfort and joy to Mary Lou.
