Mark Everitt

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mark Everitt on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Mark was the son of Bill and Mary Everitt; brother of Donna French (Peter) and David Everitt (Judi). Father of Ian Everitt.  Uncle of Kelly, Alan, David, Nick and Jill. Great Uncle of Celina, Mackenzie, Ty, Ryan and Levi. Mark was a special friend and mentor of Allix and Nick and honorary Papa to Wynter. Mark has always been a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid friend and lover of animals, especially dogs. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Mark’s family will be remembering him privately.

  3. Mark my friend we had a lot of laughs when we worked at Penske in Chatham. You were the man that trained me and made work seem like fun not work . You will be missed but always in our hearts and memories heaven has a great guy till we meet again

  9. I remember all the games of pool we played at the old clubhouse, for the honours of who was “Big Chad” and who was “little Chad”. Rest easy old friend.

  10. I will always remember the gentle giant(chad) we were good friends and did many things! Boating /riding/partying/working/an d more ! he was always the entertainer! one liners and jokes! we go back many years! I will miss him greatly and remember him always!

  17. Have many memories of Mark working with him at Sandy Elliott Motors many years ago, he would cash our checks for us and meet us at the M H for lunch so we could stay for the afternoon and not go back to work! He was always a gentleman and will be missed by many !

One of the few “Real” people I’ve met and your mentoring to the young ones will always be appreciated and remembered. Only knowing you for the last few years, I can only imagine how much you’ve meant to the entire Frederick family, especially Laura, Allix and Nick for so many years.     We, …Bob and I, And Family, will miss Chad’s Caring and Fun Loving Disposition. I will miss HIS Big (((Hug))) when I would see him..We have many great memories, At Birthdays, Holidays, Cadets Ceramonies and Parades, all together with Laura, as Alix and NIkk were growing up.

  24. Since before I was born, Mark and my father, Brad, were very close friends. He was one of the sweetest men I have ever known who gave great bear hugs. He will be missed by so many. This is heartbreaking. My condolences to all that loved him.
