Lucky Cable

It comes with great sadness to announce the passing of Lucky Frederick Cable.  Loving husband to Joyce (Hotte) Cable for 55 years.  Lucky passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by parents Fred & Jean Cable (Murray) of Cochrane. Survived by sister Betty Cable Moore of Brights Grove, sister Linda (Predeceased) & Dennis Douma of Cochrane, brother Mike & Sharleen Cable of Timmins.

Will be sadly missed by daughters: Kim Cable & Chris Willoughby of Chatham. Patti (Cable) Henneker & Jeff Schindler of Chatham. Tammy Cable & Billy Morrow of Perth, Shelley Cable & Romeo Girard of Chatham, Michelle (Cable) Waggott  & Mike Waggott of Chatham.

Grandchildren:  Rick Cable, Tiffany Cable, Tory Cable, Bobbi Henneker Vasher, Scott Maguire, Alyssa Strain, Jon Cable, Cody Strain, Nikki Cable and Evan Girard.

Great Grandchildren:  Owen Waggott, Austin Waggott, Lily Crew, Ryker Devos, Cash Devos, Bryson Cable, Kingston Gibson and Brayden Cable.

All are welcome to attend a Celebration of Lucky’s Life on June 30, 2019 from 1-5 at the Moose Lodge in Chatham.

Dad loved his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren with all his heart, so in lieu of flowers please donate to The Ronald McDonald House.

    He was a wonderful person , always had a good joke, or he just made you laugh or smile just when you needed it.

  7. well this is not the easiest think to write about ,but yet so many great memories with my brother in law Lucky and my sweet sister Joyce ,if i started on any things about them both ;i’d be here till next year writing a book,all is good
    I have never had a relationship as great as we shared ,love you Joyce and Lucky ,so much ,sure going to miss him

  14. My sincere condolences to Lucky’s family. Our families go way back to Clute and Cochrane days. His mom and dad were great friends of mine (Earnie and Dorothy Bentley) back in the day. Both our mother’s worked together and stayed in touch until their passing. By reading these condolences I see that Lucky hadn’t changed one bit. Still the happy go-lucky jokester I remember. I am sure he will be missed. RIP Lucky

  20. Joyce, Tammy and family, I am so sorry for your loss of a great husband, father and grandfather. Lucky had the ability to make everyone laugh no matter how they felt. All his family and friends have cherished memories of Lucky that will be held forever in their hearts. He will be greatly missed by all.

    Our heartfelt sympathies are with you during this difficult time. You husband/father was one of a kind, and knowing each of you, I know you all have some Lucky in you. His sense of humour was spectacular which all of you have too!! He loved his family fiercely, and worked tirelessly for all of you. He helped raise some of the best women I know. He will so missed. I have known lucky since 1990 when I first met him as my truck driving teacher so patient and calm but quick with a joke to put me at ease threw the year he became my friend and mentor gonna miss the coffee shop times and truck stops we would see each other at rest easy buddy we’ll catch you on the flip flop 10.4
