Lou anne Maine

Lou anne Maine – 1964 – 2021

Sadly, on September 25, 2021, angels called home a beautiful soul, who loved life beyond words.

Lou anne leaves behind her broken hearted husband, Larry Maine, of 29 years and her precious daughter and best friend, Nicole Maine, as well as beloved children Carrie (Carlo) Caputo and Sean (Karrie) Maine. She will be missed by her parents, Alveana and Bill Willder, who she adored, and is predeceased by her father, Emile Erdie. Lou Anne loved her siblings; dearly missed brother Mickey Erdie (1984), brother Dan (Jeanette) Erdie, twin sister Lee Anne Cuyler, brother Dwayne (Michelle) Willder, sister Kim (Jamie, 2021) Toulouse and brother Darrell Willder. She will be missed so much by her grandchildren Alexandria and Victoria Caputo, and Joshua, Julia and Jordan Maine and by family members Jack (Helen) Maine, Donna Jean (Jack, 2020) McLeod, Mickie (Don) Sans, Cheryle (2019) and Ray Norris (2011). Lou will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many special cousins.

Lou anne loved a simple life and never wanted more. She loved her yard, her plants, decorating for each and every holiday and her love of music was beyond words (mostly country). Her heart was larger than life, just like her laugh. She loved and welcomed God into her life and heart. Lou anne will by missed forever and always.

The family thanks Sarnia Bluewater Hospital ICU doctors and nurses.

A celebration of Lou anne’s life will take place on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Links of Kent, from 2pm to 5pm in the afternoon. Covid restrictions will apply, please see the Links of Kent website for more details. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Charlotte’s Freedom Farm , in person on October 24 or at www.charlottesfarm.ca/donations
