  1. I have comfort knowing your hard days have passed.
We finished how we began, by being unsure of each other, but knowing our love for one another would never diminish. Over the years we had many adventures and they all still make me smile when I think of them.
You were a gentle soul and there was little doubt you always had the best of intentions.
We’ll catch up one day and have a bunch of laughs while we listen to Mitch Ryder, Roger Waters and Pink Floyd….we’ll sip an old Milwaukee and talk about the times we had….just like we always used to.
Rest easy Dad, you’ve earned it.

      1. coming up on 3 years this weekend, Dad.
literally hundreds of times you’ve come to my mind to ask you about something, or to share a story…..only to realize that isn’t a reality an more. my regrets grow each time I think that we could have put some minor differences behind us.

        …we are not promised tomorrow…

  2. Audrey so sorry to hear of Lloyd’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

  9. 4 years have come and gone….. they aren’t any easier at times.
the family dog died on the 10th last year and I swore I was just going to hide on October 10th.
I often wonder what you’d think about the world as it is today…..
I’ll keep coming back here and leaving you a message if for no other reason than to console myself.
    see you next year.
