William (Les) Henry
(1943 – 2018)
It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather – William (Les) Henry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years – Heather – children Scott (Janet), Leslie-Anne, and Shawn and grandchildren Sarah, Joshua, Riley and great grandson Nash, and Les’ brother David.
Predeceased by his parents Edward (1994) and Hazel (1996)and his in-laws Charles (1981)and Flora (1972).
Les really enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially baseball, golf, and ball hockey as well as watching his Montreal Canadians, New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and the Sarnia Sting.
His biggest joy was seeing and spending time with all his grandchildren and great grandson.
Les worked at Fiberglas Canada, Senior VIP and Lambton Elderly Outreach.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Les Life will take place on January 20th, 2018 at High Park Church Hall from 1 – 3 pm.
If you have a favorite sports jersey please wear it ,if not just dress casually.

  8. Les you will be missed by a lot of family and friends. It was a pleasure to have a met you and seeing you as a wonderful grandfather, father, and husband. Each day I pray that this will get easier on all and to know you are at peace and no pain or suffering as everyone says goodbye to you I pray for peace on them all to help them and to remember the good times and keep your Love alive

  9. Dad, everyday goes i miss u more and more. Now with the nice weather coming it will even be harder because when u came to visit we always had a beer in backyard and when mom wasn’t looking. I would slip you another one. I think about you all the time and I really miss u. Thanks again for everything you have done for me in my life. Joshua is wearing your necklaces so u can be close to u. I promise as nash grows up he will know who is great grandpa was. I am so glad you got to see him even if it was a short period time.. Love u and I really miss u! Xo

  10. Well dad it’s been 5 months now since u left my life. I am sitting in my back yard having a beer thinking u. This was something u and I enjoyed doing when u came for a visit. I Just really miss u.
