Judy Grocott

Judith Anne Grocott, R.N., passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the age of 82. Judy was the only child of the late Veronica and Ernie DeMarse. She was a proud graduate of the St Joseph’s Hospital nursing class of 1962. Dear wife of John Grocott for 60 years. Cherished mom and mother-in-law of Jenny & Doug Mosey, Beth & Mike Williams, and Kariene Grocott. Judy adored her grandchildren, Ryan Nelson and his wife Rachel, Sara Nelson, and great-granddaughter, Emily Nelson. Cremation has taken place with burial in Wallaceburg. Special thanks to Dr Don Hastings and the staff at CKHA.

    I will never forget the rides to school in the big green Ford. Kariene and I were always in the same grade at school.

  22. Judy was my sister-in-law for 60 years. In all those years we had so much fun and so much laughter together …….and we never had a disagreement. She truly was a wonderful lady and I will miss her.

  24. Dear Jenny. So sorry for your loss. Your mother was indeed in my mother’s room at the hospital. Sorry I missed you as my mother was moved to a different room soon after your mother arrived.
