Judy Butler

Judy Butler of Chatham passed away while surrounded by family Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Mother of Tammy Butler and Jodi Butler. Grandmother of Michael (Robyn), Shelby and Avia. Great-grandmother of Asia, Nakoma and Paisley. Judy will also be missed by her fur babies Oliver, Peppi and Mitsy. Judy is also survived by her sister Elaine Knapper, brother Keith (Pauline) Vince and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Harold Vince and brother Dave. Judy worked at PGH for 32 years as a nurse until she retired. Judy loved gardening and spending time with her family and fur babies. She also loved going to bingo once in a while. Her favourite song was Amazing Grace. The family would like to thank Dr. Verberg for all he did for Judy as well as the nurses on the Stroke and Rehab Unit along with the Continuing Care Unit.     1. My sweet neighbor my heart has been broken yet again sorry for ur loss Butler Family . I will always remember ur kindness at Christmas n our Halloween sit outs even though we were across the street from one another. U have always been good to talk with n we did have some laughs n u gave very good advice. Your fur babies r really going to miss u as r we .R.I.P.

  2. I went over to the Butler’s house as a teenage friend of Jodi’s and Judy always was welcoming and so extremely kind. I am truly sorry for your loss.

  3. Tammy and Jodi and Family. Please know That Judy will always be remembered fondly. She was always there for me. She raised 2 incredible ladies and she has touched so many lives in a positive way. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all of you.

  6. So very sad. Judy was one of the most amazing woman I had the privilege to know.
    My condolences to her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her siblings and friends.

    The world will be a little less bright without Judy in it.

    Dear Tammy, Jodie and family I was sad to hear of your mother’s passing. She was a loving mom who loved daughters above all else. Her patients found her an understanding and compassionate Nurse. I saw Judy as a nursing friend. One who always ready to help. Tammy, Jodie and family you are in my prayers

  8. Tammy ,Jodie and families.I worked with Judy for many years. She was so very good at providing comfort and care for her patients. She would, without pause provide a hug or a shoulder to cry on. My condolences to the family.
