    ‘ The Lord is my strength and my song;
    He has become my salvation.
    I shall not die but I shall live,
    and recount the deeds of the Lord.
    The Lord has chastened me sorely,
    but He has not given me over to death.’
    extract: Psalm 118-14,17,18

    ‘ Jesus, the very thought of Thee
    with sweetness fills my breast,
    but sweeter for Thy face to see
    and in Thy presence rest.
    Jesus, our only joy be Thou,
    as Thou our prize wilt be;
    Jesus, be Thou our glory now
    and through eternity. Amen
