Easter, Helen Genevieve (Williams): Died February 25, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Howard (Howie) Easter and her pride and joy, her three sons Brad and his wife Mary, Douglas and his wife Heidi, David and his partner Janet, and Carole Easter (Uher). Helen dearly loved her 8 grandchildren – Brent & Scott, Amber, Patrick & Walter, Jill, Derek & Jenna, and 7 (soon to be 8) great grandchildren. Helen is pre-deceased by her parents, Earl & Edith Williams, and her siblings Manse Williams, Phyllis Rycroft, and Ken Williams. Helen worked at various locations in Chatham over the years including Laura Secord Chocolates and The Southwest Regional Centre. She also volunteered at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Gift Shop. She enjoyed golfing, quilting and time at Rondeau with those she cherished. The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff at Meadowpark for their wonderful care and compassion during Helen’s time with them. Arrangements have been entrusted to Life Transitions. A private gathering will be held at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
