Cummings, Helen Alberta (Johnson) passed away at her Chatham residence June 27, 2019 at the age of 90. Born in Sidney Township on June 14, 1929 to the late Stanley and Bessie (Bedell) Johnson of Belleville. Wife of 47 years of the late George (Bud) Cummings. Helen is survived by sister Betty Davis of Belleville and brother Ralph of Stouffville, predeceased by sister Evelyn and brother Ted. Also survived by brother-in-law Roscoe Cummings of Belleville. Devoted mother of Judy Bishop (Ken predeceased), Rick, Brian (Hang), Mark (Keiko), Roseanne (Rusty predeceased). Loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place.     I enjoyed see Helen when she come to Senior Day Out Program at St. Andrew and delivery Meal on wheels to her. I will miss her at the Senior Day Out Program.

  2. Extending our deepest sympathies in the loss of your mother / grandmother. I have many fond childhood memories of her smiling face and gentle manner. Hope in some small way our thoughts and prayers will support you through this most difficult time.

  3. Helen was such a sweet and gentle person. Her fine qualities are present today in her dear sons and daughters. I will remember her with great fondness.
