Graham “Wayne” Johnston, passed peacefully Friday, July 15 2022 at Copper Terrace. Predeceased by his parents “Bud” and Lillian,  leaving behind his sons  Jeremiah and Jarrod, stepsons Sean and Dale, grandchildren Carley, Ashley, Cooper, and Fiona, and siblings Lynda, Dan, and Terry. Wayne was a collector of books, coins, autographs, and stamps. He enjoyed chess,  trivia, Sherlock Holmes, watching sports, Tim Horton’s coffee  and KFC immeasurably. He had a sweet tooth and a sense of humour to the end.  Wayne was a Draftsman by trade, but spent his last working days at The Montreal House. For those who knew him, cherish your memories, find solace knowing he is at rest now, and raise a glass in his honour. Wayne will be cremated and a celebration to be planned for a later date.

  2. Very sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. I worked in the drafting department at Daymond’s with Wayne many moons ago and he showed me how to play chess on our lunch hours. He was a great guy. Deepest condolences to the entire family.

  3. We extend our deepest sympathies to Wayne’s family. I remember learning a lot from Wayne and Terry when we lived in Prairie Siding, good and bad lol. RIP Wayne
