Grace Irving

Grace Marie Dempsey Irving passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 83. Born in Scotland, the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Gemmell. Wife of the late William Irving and mother of Brian and Stuart (Elizabeth) Irving. Grandmother of Mathew Irving and Nicole Irving. Grace is also survived by her great friend, neighbour and “adopted daughter” Karen Rayment. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed. Grace was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church in Chatham where she greatly enjoyed serving with the breakfast program there regularly making french toast. Grace’s family will be remembering her privately. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Grace’s memory are asked to consider The First Presbyterian Breakfast Program.

  3. So incredibly sorry for your loss. Grace brought a lot of joy to St.Andrew’s. Had my crying from laughing so hard and being “sassy” with me all the time. She is an amazing women with an amazing personality. Will definitely be missed.
