Gordon Burk

Burk, Gordon Leroy Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Hospice on November 19th, 2019 at age 59. Beloved son of Ralph Burk (predeceased) and Sylvia Burk of Blenheim. Loving brother of David, Michael, Stephen, Lorraine and Sandra Burk. Gord will be remembered by his friends and co-workers as very loyal and full of humour and always ready to help. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at Willow Ridge Golf and Country Club on Sunday November 24, from 1- 4pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to C-K Hospice or a charity of your choice.Online condolences for the family may be left at www.lifetransitions.ca

  7. I also had the pleasure of working with Gord at the wheels. Following that time I would very often run into him He never changed, a sweet wonderful man, so gentle. I will miss his face and our conversation. Hood bye Gord, enjoy your rest. I know you are safe in Jesus arms

  8. Condolences to the Burk family. Had good times with Gordie in high school going to dances and going out to the movies. We remained friends afterward and was always smiling. He was a gentle soul and will be missed

  9. I also had the pleasure of working with Gord at the wheels. No matter where he was, he made all around him happy. It just came natural to him. If you were lucky enough to meet Gord the odds are he knew someone you knew or had a story he wanted to share. He was a people person. He was a hard worker and would do anything for you. My condolences to all his family. He was a great friend and will be missed deeply. Rest in Peace friend.

  10. So sorry to hear of your loss. Gord was a kind soul. I work with Gord at the wheels .Gord tough me a lot in 16 years..Gord worked hard and proud. He aways gave110 %. Always helping others.we had a lot of good times .I use to watch how he always treated people the same with his smile and his own way to make you feel welcomed and a part of Gord you will be missed by many .But never forgotten. RIP MY FRIEND.

  11. Gord had a big heart and a great big smile and was kind to everyone. Working with Gord at the Wheels Inn was always a pleasure because of his sense of humour and his easy going attitude. He was a good friend, gone too soon. I will miss him.

  12. To Gords family,My deepest sympathy to all..I met Gord several years ago and our paths crossed over time.Whether it be at the golf course in Blenheim.walking down the street in town or in Chatham…Always a friendly hello and great conversations.with him.Much too young but now at peace.

  14. Condolences to Gord’s family. Gord worked for us for eight summers except for the previous one. Not a day went by that someone didn’t say “where’s Gord”. His work ethics of helping others, bringing out popsicles for the crew, conversations and smiles not to be forgotten. Gord will certainly be missed by all.

  15. I had the privilege of working with Gord for many years at the Wheels Inn. He was a very hard worker and always went above and beyond for both his fellow team mates and the many customers we catered to at the facility.
    He always had a smile that at times was mischievous and it made you wonder what he was up to – but it was always in good fun and meant to provide a laugh. I will always remember his interest in history, he would often bring in newspaper clippings or books to show me. He will certainly be greatly missed.

Also worked with Gord at the wheels for years when work had to be done he was always particular about his work and how it should was done and expected same efficiency and professionalism from his staff Gord also had his other side mischievous side liked to pull pranks oh and could always find a party you never new where he would turn up and take you by surprise my in-laws had privilege of meeting Gord thought he was great best memory of Gord is when he helped with my wedding raised money out of goodness of his heart R i p Gord and condolences to Burke family Gord was liked by everyone
