Eleanor Glena Finley

On Friday April 3, 2020, with her sister Barbara at her side Eleanor Glena Finley went peacefully to be with the Lord. Born 70 years ago in Windsor to the late William and Glena Finley. Sister of Howard, Billy, Carl, Stuart, Barbara Jean, Katherine, Glenda (Glen), Paula and Dawn. Predeceased by brothers Robert, Gary, John Paul, Kenneth, Larry and Eric. Also predeceased by brother in law Frank Vaneste, step father Stuart Corbin and dear friend Pastor Germany. Survived by sisters in law Terry and Christine as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, ¬†great nephews, cousins and extended family. Eleanor treasured her time with the A.M.E. Church in Chatham with pastor Tracey Thomas. She will be remembered as a loving person that enjoyed singing, taking walks and being active. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be announced at a later time.

Forever loved and greatly missed, as I remember when her and her sister Paula used to come to our house for prayer meetings, she loved how I could play the tambourine and sing (her tambourine) so she gave it to me and I will keep playing and singing in memory of Eleanor, Rest easy Sister & love to the family,
