Douglas Cumming

We have lost our friend, our father and our love. Douglas Cumming passed away on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at the age of 71. Ruth and Doug cherished 38 loving years together.  Doug shared his life with his 4 children, Terry Cumming, the late Tracy Taylor, the late Rob O’Neil and Jamie Cumming. Doug was also blessed to have 5 granddaughters, Sasha, Amber (Rob), Paige, Sloane (C Jay), and Jaiden.  He also loved and enjoyed his two great grandsons Coleson and Kayleb.   Greatly missed by his large family, leaving behind many siblings, Gary (Marg), Marilyn MacHutchon (Hector), Rob (Pat), Randy (Sheilegh), Mike (Val) and James (Lize).   Happy days for Doug were spent with his family and friends, whether it was on the lake catching fish or at the trailer by the fire.  He will forever be remembered as an amazing soul and will be greatly missed by all.  In lieu of flowers, should you wish to make any donations in Doug’s honour, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cystic Fibrosis.  A celebration of life will be held in the near future once current restrictions are lifted.
