Douglas Allison

Douglas Clare Allision, long time resident of Blenheim, after a courageous battle, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Chatham Kent Hospice. Son of the late Clare and Marjorie Allison. Survived by his loving best friend Sherryl Pratt. Also survived by his brother Richard Allison and nieces Jennifer Lloyd and Julie Allison. Doug also leaves behind his dog, Yogi.   2. Doug will be missed soooooo, so much. He was caring, friendly and always tried to bring a smile to everyone in his own way. I pray that God brings peace and comfort to my Mom Sherryl and to all his family, especially Dick, Jennifer, Julie and all his friends during this difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers (and is Doug too). I miss him so much too. He took good care of my Mom and he was always there for her.

  7. Doug was a caring human being with a good heart. In recent years he had fought many health battles and he took each in stride with courage and fortitude. He was a caring partner in Sherryl’s life. He will definitely be missed. May the Lord bless those who need His comfort now as life must go on.

  13. We were so sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. He had many health struggles in the recent past. He faced them all and fought bravely.  He was a great friend to my mother and kept her company through the years. Doug will be greatly missed. We are thankful for all that he brought to our family.
