Donald Richie

Donald Robert Richie, a lifelong resident of Chatham died on Friday July 24, 2020 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance in his 66th year. After a prolonged struggle with cancer Don left this world in the quiet way in which he lived. It is believed he carried on in life as a solitary man, working in factories over time but enjoying many of the leisures that we all love: using public libraries, watching movies and staying out of trouble. He is survived by his friends Doris Sutcliffe and Ted Cruse. Don was buried at Maple Leaf cemetery with a quiet prayer and respectful nod to his Maker.
