Don Barker

Donald Wayne Barker. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Don , Friday November 17, 2017 at the age of 70. A resident of Chatham and formerly Highgate, Don was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Margaret, his infant brother George (1951), his infant grandson Anthony (1990) and his in laws Charles and Alice Crow. Loving husband of Darlene for 48 years. Father of Kris (Phyllis Close) and Kelly (Rod Phillips). Grandfather to Jeff (Loucille), Katie (Jean Paul) and Taylor. Great grandfather to Emily, Derek and soon to be born Dekota. Brother in law to Darryl Crow, Kim Nichol (Wally) and Colleen Crow. He will also be missed by many friends, cousins, Nieces, Nephews and furry companions. Don Retired in 2012 from Anchor Danly where he was employed as a truck driver in Tilbury. All of his golf buddies will have many stories to tell on the courses. There was always a lot of fun and laughter. The family requests any donations be sent to the CK Hospice where he was provided with wonderful care and dignity. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1-4 pm at the Links of Kent Golf Course in Chatham.
