Early mornings Ponch could be found enjoying his coffee at the Leamington Marina with his friends close by. His interests included playing in the garden, canning, smoking fish, but most importantly, he was a fisherman at heart. A close friend once said “Ponch was an inspiration him. Life is a gift and your dad lived everyday. He woke up everyday with a purpose, from baking bread to drying minnows. Ponch didn’t need cronies, he fished by himself he spent hours in his garden alone…he enjoyed his own company. In memory of our dad please take the time to pay it forward. There will be a celebration of life Saturday May 25, 2019 form 1-4pm at the Erieau Fire Hall.
