Darlene Spiers

 

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Darlene Theresa Spiers (nee Sampson) on Wednesday July 21, 2021 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born 62 years ago in Tecumseh, Ontario. Beloved daughter of Jeanine Sampson and the late Roland. Caring wife of Dennis for over 40 years. Wonderful mother of Jason and Bradley and amazing grandmother of Faith, Autumn and Paige. Darlene is the sister of Diane Brooks, Debbie Monro, Ricky Sampson, Donald Sampson and the late Robert Sampson. She is also survived by brothers and sisters in law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Darlene lived her last few years at Copper Terrace. She loved her grandchildren, arts and crafts, puzzles and the beauty of hummingbirds. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday July 29, 2021 at a 6 pm at Life Transitions Burial and Cremation Service Inc. with Rev Joyce Walker officiating.

  6. We were lifetime friends, Darlene was really funny and we would laugh so much we would have tears runny down our face. I remember my stomach being so sore just because we laughed so much. She was always such a good hearted person. I’ve known her since grade school and she never changed, she always was making everyone laugh. I know things weren’t the best the last few years but I will miss you alot. Until we meet again.

  8. Darlene was my Sister,
    Through the years we fought like cats and dogs, but there was one constant in our lives… we did love each other. I think of Darlene now and I laugh and cry at the same time. She loved a good time.
    Loving Darlene as only sister’s could changed my life, it should come as no surprise that losing her has done the same. Just wish covid didn’t steal so much time from us. We did however get to see her on her birthday. Will cherish that day forever. Who knew in just a little over a month she’d be gone. Fly with the angels Darlene, you deserve it. Gonna miss the hell outta you.
