Dan Demers

We are saddened to announce the passing of Daniel Demers on Wednesday, June 17th, 2020 in his 72nd year. Dan was surrounded by his loving family as he passed away and will be forever missed by his daughter Dianna Demers (partner Dave LeClair). Papa will also be missed by Blake, Owen, Alexis and Kamden. Dan will also be missed by his ex-wife and best friend Delores Fisher, and is is loved by extended family and friends. Dan is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Bertha Demers, his brothers Arsene, Larry and Leo Demers and his sister Loretta McCallum. He is survived by his brother Gerry. We are thankful to the EMS Community Paramedic program for their wonderful care of Dan. Special thanks to Candice Love, Kalynn Rossignol, Amy Beutler-Larsen and Sylvie Lavigne for their excellent attention and care for Dan.

  5. Dan was a very loving Father and Papa and loved by many , as his ex wife we became good friends and co parented our daughter dianna very nicely , he would give the shirt off his back for anyone ,he will be sadly missed but never forgotten RIP Dan

  6. The best way to describe my uncle is he has a heart of gold and that can never be taken away. Rest In Peace Uncle Danny and I will see you on the other side some day. Dianna and family you need to know that whenever we would go out for breakfast or talk on the phone, he would beam whenever we talked about his daughter and grandchildren. He would always say that he was proud of what you’ve all become. He loved how much you care about each other and about him. He loved the Christmas dinners that you would prepare and spending time together. Keep having those dinners in his memory. He will be right there beside you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve known Dan since I was a teenager Dan was always a kind soul and one of the nicest people Ive ever met when he drove cab if he seen you walking home late he would stop and give you a ride and never asked for a cent just wanted to make sure you made it safe I will miss our short visits Rest in peace my dear old friend I will miss you

  10. Diana, Delores. I’m very saddened to hear of uncle Dan’s passing. l stood up with yous when you two got married, l was arts son in law. I talked to Dan many times on McFarlane st, He was such a nice guy. Sorry for your loss .may he rest in Peace.
