We are therefore convinced he is fully alive in the presence of Jesus, his Saviour and Lord. Know of our love for Margaret, Mark, Phil, and James and all members of the family as you grieve this significant loss. Clare will be assigned to organize multiple and complex connecting in the Kingdom of Heaven.

  3. I have such fond memories of Clare as our landlord at the apartment building on Sheldon. We always felt safe knowing that he was just a floor below us if we needed anything. So thankful to know that he is now with the Lord. Sending our sincerest condolences and prayers for the Laird family during this time.

  6. Clare and Marg were the first people I met the very first Sunday that I came to Emmanuel Baptist Church. Someone had given me the wrong time for the service and I showed up an hour early. They were the only ones there and they welcomed me warmly and gave me a tour. Their kindness was the reason I stopped looking for a church 20 years ago; I knew I’d found home.

  7. Dear Family
May the many memories of your husband, father, grandfather and great grand father , help to fill the void
    God Bless all of you

  8. Dear Margaret: We are so sorry to hear of Clare’s transition to Glory, but know that he is in the perfect place now. We will miss his wonderful humor and kibitzing with us over the phone. We are presently wintering in Florida, so will be unable to make any of the services. Please know we wlll be praying for you and the family at this time of grieving. Love, Gary, Jeanne, Shawn and Wendy Sanders
