Christopher Homeniuk

Today I lost my rock, lover, soul mate and fabulous father to our son Devon.

It is with broken hearts the family of Christopher Charles Homeniuk announces his unexpected passing on Nov. 12th, 2019 at University Hospital in London. Cherished husband of Stephanie (nee Springer).  Loving and eternally proud father of Devon.  Cherished son of Marilyn and the late Michael Homeniuk. Dear brother of Michelle Homeniuk and the late Debbie Homeniuk.  Chris felt blessed to be a special part of his nephew Myles Homeniuk’s life and was proud of the man he has become. Remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly even though he teased them relentlessly.  Chris leaves behind a wealth of close Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends who will all miss him dearly.
Chris will be remembered as a straight shooter who loved motorcycles, guns and his family. He was a big teddy bear with a heart of gold and a quirky sense of humour and he deeply loved being a Dad.
In kindness, memorial donations for Chris’ son Devon can be made payable to Stephanie Homeniuk and are humbly appreciated.

A celebration of Chris’ life will be at T-Bone’s Grill House, 953 Charing Cross Rd. in Chatham on Sunday December 8th from 12-3pm.  As per Chris’s wishes, casual attire only, preferably jeans and a black shirt.  Bring fond memories and stories to share with all his family and friends.

I cannot express the thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers from everyone. We are truly blessed to have all of the support at this time.  Do me a huge favour and hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight for me. Thanks for the fabulous “30” years… wish we could have had more.

Stephanie
