  3. Oh, my dears! I am so very sorry for your loss of this fine lady – a truly beautiful soul who lived her life in love and for those she cared about, you know how firmly she held you in her heart. I have been privileged to have known Chris since the time that she caught the eye of my brother and it did not take me very long to realize that his eye had been captivated by a gem – truly a treasure. Even though we have been separated by many miles, through our visits over the years, I have known Chris to be a gracious host as well as a delightful guest. In her own kind and simple way, Chris worked behind the scenes to keep me connected to my distant family and for that, I am truly appreciative of her generous spirit. Always, I will treasure my memories of this special lady. May all of you, and especially my brother, Bob, be comforted by how you were blessed to have travelled part of life’s journey with this special lady. xox

We had some fun times together playing Euchre and I especially remember the wet washrag toss. Only Chris would let that happen in her house. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. My sympathy to all.
