  10. Carol and I attended Grade 1 – 3 at S.S.#3Zone school, one concession behind our homes. We walked to and from school together, and were the only students in Grades 1 – 3. In Grade 4 – 8, we attended St. Paul Catholic School and rode on the same bus. Carol was a good friend during our school days. I remember that she had long brown ringlets in her hair, and a great smile. When you live in the country, you have only a few friends, and for me, Carol was a friend. Sending condolences to her family. She will be missed. Marie Herbert Gabriel
