Brown, Brenda Joyce, passed peacefully on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at the Chatham Kent Hospice. Daughter of the late Rus and Mary Smith. Wife of Douglas Brown. Mother of Cindy Brown (Jim White) and the late Tom Brown (1983). Grandmother of Josh Reaume. Sister of Gord Smith, Terry Smith (Diane) and Tim Smith. Brenda worked for many years as a graphic designer and enjoyed serving as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Branch 642 Legion in Chatham. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Chatham Kent Hospice. All are welcome to attend a memorial service at Stewart Cemetery on Tuesday July 3 at 11:00 am. We were so very sorry to hear of Brenda’s passing. She was a straight shooter who kept everyone in line at the Chatham Shopper and I had a great deal of respect of her. So many memories!
