July 16, 1941- March 28, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Bill Carey.

Bill died peacefully at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, March 28th, at the age of 79.

Bill (predeceased by his wife Linda, 2006) leaves behind his special friend, Mary Lou Flynn, His two sons Will (Laurette) Carey, Craig (Brandie) Carey, his daughter in law Jackie Carey, his granddaughters, Lauren (Jeff), Ashlyne (Mark), Jesse (Brady), and Taylar (Zach) and great grandson Braxton.  He also leaves behind many great friends and relatives who always took care of Dad.

Bill spent his adult life living in Charing Cross.  He retired from Rockwell many years ago and truly enjoyed his retirement.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be take place at a later date.

Donations in his name would be welcomed at the Chatham Kent Hospice.

  6. Sorry for your loss. Many good conversations with your mom and dad…Had the pleasure of looking after their insurance needs for many years. Bill was always a gentleman and a great guy to deal with, great sense of humour!

  7. Will and Craig and family Howard and I send you our deepest and heartfelt sympathy. Howard remembers the time spent hunting moose and deer as for me I think often of the times we went snowmobiling and the fun we had . Sorry for your loss. Bill was a good friend

    1. My condolences to the family on the passing of Bill. I worked with Bill many years at Rockwell and enjoyed his laughter and his funny antics. He was a very caring and generous person that will be greatly missed. RIP my friend and Blessings to the family.

  17. My condolences to Craig,Will and the whole Carey Family.It’s been awhile since we grew up in Charing Cross.I run into your dad a few years ago camping at Mooretowm.He never changed he was a good man.GenePaul Reaume.
