Andrew James Lally, 39 years of age, passed away on December 26th. Son of Jim and Alison Lally, brother of John (Olivia), Kate (Zach) and Thomas. Father of Penny Lally and Kendall Lally-McCarrell. Survived by Corrine Lally and Kaitlin McCarrell and their families. Also survived by his chocolate lab, Rio, many friends, his family in the UK and his Canadian Family- Judith, Dave, Tom, Chris, Pam and The Boys. Andrew will be remembered as a music lover, a talented football player and fan of Manchester United who idolized Eric Cantona and also a fan of the classic comedy of Derek and Clive. He was a talented Plumber and enjoyed tinkering with electronics but deeply loved to be silly with his girls, which often involved dancing, YouTube videos, eating too much chocolate and swimming at the YMCA with Penny. 

Memorial Gathering will be held as an open house on Friday, January 3rd at Links of Kent between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. Remarks will be made at 1:30 pm.

  2. Andrew has so much laughter and love, I spent a summer working along side him at a grass cutting business years back. Always had fun and made the day awesome. I am very sorry to hear of this and I pray for comfort and healing for all his family and friends. Much love

  4. This is such a sock. I’m so sorry for all of Andrew’s family, and friends. He was good man, who will be greatly missed by all. I’ll never forget our football banter back in our C.K.S.S. days. A fellow Englishmen, who’s families immigrated to Canada.

We enjoyed some banter with him and we will remember him with love and affection. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends who will miss him dearly.

    I hadn’t seen Andy in years and happened to run into eachother a few months back. It was as if no time had passed. Same ole joker with a smile from ear to ear. It was so nice catching up that day.

  23. Andrew and I were good friends in highschool. Lally was hilarious, witty, fun-loving, sensitive and loyal. He smiled freely and always had a kind word to share. Lally was fierce on the soccer field and took a lot of pride in the sport. My condolences to Andrew’s family, this is a tragedy.

  24. I’m so saddened and heartbroken to hear of Andrew’s passing. I may have been his first Canadian friend, he was definitely my first British friend. I’ll always remember his big smile and infectious laugh, and all our long conversations on my front porch. He was a great prom date too, cleaned up nice.   27. My deepest condolences to Andrews family, I remember meeting Andrew in public school. We had a long running joke about how he was losing his English accent for a Canadian one. We had alot of good laughs. I hope his family and friends find some peace, rest easy Andrew.

R.I.P Andrew I didn’t know you very long but the first day I met you I will never forget you offered me a ride home with all my laundry as u seen me struggling you were quite a gentleman, funny and cheered me up when I was down sure will miss you!
